Sea Trail

Arrange for sea trial.  Check mechanical operation, sailing abilities.  This will be handled by myself or a compantant skipper.  At the end of the sea trial, the vessel is delivered directly to the haul out yard, depending on buyers satisfaction with the inspections to this point.  The buyer is responsible for the cost of the haul out in advance of pulling the vessel and payment of the sea trial time.

The vessel will be hung and allowed to dry for a few hours before under water inspection.  Random sounding and moisture reading will be taken.  Underwater mechanical inspected.  Blisters, impact areas noted.  General condition of antifouling and zinc anodes.

Either the same day or the following morning the vessel will be returned to the water and placed back in it’s berthing.  If the buyer elects, the vessel can be transferred from sling hang time to one of the contractors for repairs or painting depending on time and space available.

The final written report, including condition, market valve, and estimate for needed repairs will be delivered within 48 hours.
